Practice

Alfred Trujillo Arderiu (Sabadell, 1980) is a visual artist, typographic designer, and educator whose practice also extends into illustration and applied visual systems. Through Nomaszebras he develops a body of work where typography moves between image, open system, performative action, and sculptural presence.

His work investigates how letters and geometric structures can behave as unstable forms: they repeat, interfere, react to code, unfold through sound and movement, and sometimes drift into volume, materiality, and digital sculpture. Modularity, optical interference, generative processes, and performative gesture are not separate disciplines but tools within the same research.

Across installations, performances, digital tools, lettering, and visual systems, his projects move between artistic research and applied practice while maintaining a focus on transformation, rhythm, activation, and the relation between sign, body, space, and matter.
