Site-specific lettering installation for poetry book launch
L'Espai La Filanda, La Garriga
2024
Tanto Amor... translates the launch of Guillem R. Dasquens' poetry collection into a spatial lettering piece where the book is presented not through a neutral backdrop, but through an environment built from verse, gesture, and atmosphere.
Commissioned for the presentation of Tanto amor y tanta rabia, the project expanded the event identity into the floor, distributing fragments of text and a central title across the room. The space was treated as a field of reading and movement rather than a conventional stage.
Fraktur calligraphy, visual-poetry strategies, and restrained red interventions gave the piece its tone. Typography did not function as signage alone; it organized attention, paced the encounter, and turned the poems into a physical route for the audience.
As an ephemeral installation, the work existed only for the duration of the launch, but that temporary condition was part of its meaning. The project framed the reading as an atmosphere: intimate, nocturnal, and charged with tension between tenderness and rage.
