M_R_CCØ

Developed during the residency at El Corralito CCA, the project begins with compositions linked to cities in Morocco, but avoids literal representation. Each work condenses a place into rhythm, chromatic pressure, and visual tension.

The spirographic structures and interchangeable screens are not decorative variations but the core protocol of the piece. Through layering, transparencies, and slight displacements, the same matrix can generate multiple configurations and optical states.

While it resonates with Op-Art and serial structures, M_R_CCØ shifts painting away from the closed image and toward a logic of activation. Geometry is treated here as something that can be repeated, reorganized, and read differently each time.

In the exhibition, the work is completed through the visitor's movement. Color, density, and depth recompose themselves step by step, turning the piece from surface into perceptual event.
